Welcome to Starbird Saber Academy!

We play fast, fun "lightsaber" fencing based on historical sabre techniques, in a family-friendly atmosphere. Our unique teaching combines the fantasy elements of the Star Wars franchise with traditional fencing pedagogy in order to give fans a fencing experience that helps them develop exceptional skill.

We train hard so that we can have fun! Our meetings include warmups, basic and advanced drills, and of course sparring matches to test yourself and what you have learned. All ages, fitness, and skill levels are welcome to come and play!
