Russ has been fencing for thirty years, specializing in Hungarian military sabre. He is an active historical fencing researcher and has edited and published numerous medieval and modern fencing manuscripts. As well as co-founding Starbird Saber Academy, he is the founder of Winged Sabre Historical Fencing in Irving, Tx.

Kat discovered fencing in 2015 and hasn't looked back. As co-founder of Starbird Saber Academy, she has made it her mission to spread the joy of fencing to as many people as possible, in all walks of life. She will happily do miles and miles of footwork with you! And miles. And miles. And miles....
